In 1999, a group of partners formed Homecrete Homes Inc. to address what they felt was a growing need for sustainable, safe and energy-efficient housing in the Port St. Lucie/Treasure Coast of Florida and the Bakersfield/Central Valley of California. They saw the increasing demand for high quality, affordable custom and spec homes that would not only offer a wide range of custom features and amenities, but also provide superior protection from natural disasters like hurricanes and earthquakes as well as address the growing concerns over high energy costs.

In the years since that founding, Homecrete Homes, headquartered in Stuart Florida, has consistently met and exceeded those housing needs and is now the #1 builder of Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) homes in the nation. The company’s success was recently recognized by the Treasure Coast Builders Association who named them the “Best in the Treasure Coast, Platinum Award Winner”.

As the country's leading ICF production home builder, Homecrete is proud to have been a pioneer in the energy-efficient, “green” homebuilding movement that is now sweeping the nation. In fact, a recent USA Today article states that “Green building in the United States has reached critical mass”, and homeowners are beginning to demand green, sustainable structures. “Even the large single-family home production builders are embracing the new technologies. A McGraw Hill Construction Survey concluded that 2/3 of builders would be building green homes within the next year”.
